Introduction
Research on existing and prior products concludes many problems and benefits that can solve increased body temperature affecting REM sleep. Element C defines and justifies the design criteria of the future product being developed. Ranking the most to least important design criteria when it comes to designing a product. Justification of the design criteria will be done through research from websites and surveys from specific stakeholders.

Survey Results
Durablity

The 304 responses conclude that safety is very important to them. About 89.1%[3] of responses consider safety to be very important (4 and 5 consider it to be important). While the other 10.9%[3] of people either don’t need or have the least expectations for safety. In order to ensure customers trust in sales and the product, safety will be the number 1 priority in the product.
About 80.6%[3] of responses want a product to be durable for more or equal to a year. Setting high standards in a product design will ensure the durability will be the best in its release. Ensuring the customer of their safety due to the durability of the product.
Weight
The second most important criteria for a product is weight. The weight of the product can affect almost every criteria in this list. Weight can affect the cost in a product especially when it comes to transporting. Too much weight decreases the amount of product transported and increases cost as a result. Making shipment trouble for warehouses to regulate/move the product.[14]If warehouses are having trouble moving around too much weight then customers will get discouraged to move and afford the cost. To solve this the weight of the product has to be a certain size based on the weight. Smaller products have to be 10 lbs less, medium size products 30 lbs less and more big products have to be at least 80 lbs or less.
Performance

From the survey, a question asked was: Is a product that can regulate/change temperature important to you? From a total of 304 responses, 43.1% of the respondents think that it is most important to have regulated temperature around the body.[3] Performance is a key criteria with most of the respondents being on the spectrum of 4 and 5.
Cost

In the survey, there where a variety of price ranges given and the data shows that 64.1% are willing to spend over $25 and out of that percentage 19.4% are willing to spend over $35 for a product that can regulate their body temperature.[3 The data suggested that there is a demand for the product and people are willing to spend money on a product.
Temperature
The fifth most important criteria is temperature and it needs to be around 40℉ - 70℉. Temperatures whether produced or maintained need to be included. The product must be able to produce or maintain to certain temperatures for customers. These temperatures need to be 40 to 74 degrees if they are produced or handled. It’s because these temperatures are the most comfortable when it comes to people.[15]
Aesthetics

The 304 respondents were on the high side saying that aesthetics is important when buying a product. 39.8% of the respondents said that aesthetics is incredibly important when buying a product.[3] The consumers want something to look nice to show that the money they spent was spent for a reason.
Conclusion
Element C the takeaway is to meet with design criteria and public opinion that the stakeholders provided in the survey. This element establishes the design criteria for the product, and helps to get to know more about what the stakeholder wants. The design criteria is listed from most to least important, and they have been justified above.
